Take the M3 and then A303 (towards Honiton and Exeter).
Turn off on the A350 to Shaftesbury.

From Salisbury

Take the A36 to Wilton and at the round-a-bout take the A30 to Shaftesbury.

• In Shaftesbury take the B3091 to Sturminster Newton.
• When you see the “Manston” village sign, take the first right on the road to “Todber 1½, East Stour 3, Gillingham 6”.
• We are the 3rd house on the right (see the B&B board outside number 2).
• Please note: the lady in No. 1 Northwood Cottage next door gets very irate when people turn in her drive!!

From the North or Wales

• From the M5 get onto the M4 heading for London.
• Options :
  1. (This is usually quicker) At Junction 18 take the A46 to Bath and then on the A36 heading for Warminster. At the Warminster bypass roundabout take the A350 to Shaftesbury.
  2. At Junction 17 take the A350 south to Shaftesbury.
• In Shaftesbury at the first round-a-bout take the B3091 to Sturminster Newton.
• When you see the “Manston” village sign, take the first right on the road to “Todber 1½, East Stour 3, Gillingham 6”.
• We are the 3rd house on the right (see the B&B board outside number 2).

From the South (Dorchester, Wimborne Minster, Poole, Bournemouth, Ringwood, Southampton)

• Head for Blandford Forum (from Dorchester on the A35 and then A354)
  (from Wimborne Minster on the B3082 or A31 and A350)
  (from Poole, Bournemouth on the A35 and A350)
  (from Ringwood, Southampton on the A31 and A350)
• From Blandford take the A350 towards Shaftesbury.
• After about half a mile turn left over the Stour river bridge on the A357 to Sturminster Newton and Sherborne.
• At Sturminster Newton turn right over the Stour river bridge into Sturminster Newton.
• Just past the centre (very narrow) after about 200 yards/meters take the right turn marked B3091 to Shaftesbury.
• Go through the Manston village and you will pass the “Plough Pub” on the right.
• 150 yards/meters after the pub turn left on the road to “Todber 1½, East Stour 3, Gillingham 6”.
• We are about 300 yards/meters on the right (see the B&B board outside number “2 Northwood Cottages”).
• Please note: the lady in No. 1 Northwood Cottage next door gets very irate when people turn in her drive!!

From the South West (Cornwall)
